This notice is framed under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法, PDPA). Where this site is read outside Taiwan, the PDPA still governs the controller’s handling of inquiry data because the controller is established in Taiwan.

What we collect and why

This site collects only two kinds of personal data, both for a single purpose: to respond to your inquiry.

1. Inquiry form data. When you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email, optional phone, subject and message you entered, plus a timestamp. The purpose is to read and reply to your message. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form and confirm the consent checkbox.
2. Consent preference. When you accept or reject the cookie banner, your choice is stored in your own browser under the key lpi-consent-v1. This is stored locally on your device; it is not transmitted to us and we never see it.

We do not collect analytics data, browsing history, IP-based profiles, location data, or any data for marketing. No analytics or third-party tracking runs on this site.

Where the data goes

Inquiry form data is sent by a POST request to our own handler at /api/inquiry on this same domain. It is processed by Lattice Point Insights to read and reply to your message. It is not sold, shared with third parties for their own purposes, or transferred outside the inquiry workflow. The consent preference never leaves your browser.

How long we keep it

Inquiry messages and the reply context are kept only as long as needed to answer the inquiry and to keep a record of the reply, then deleted. We do not maintain a marketing list and we do not add inquiry senders to any recurring contact list without a separate, explicit request.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request a correction, to request that processing stop, and to request deletion where retention is no longer necessary. To exercise any of these, write to info@latticepoint.digital from the email address you used in the inquiry, and tell us what you want done. We will reply within a reasonable time and at no cost.

Children

This site is informational and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. An inquiry from a minor should be made by a parent or guardian.

Changes to this notice

If the handling of inquiry data changes, this notice is updated on this page, and the revision date changes with it. The notice itself is the record; there is no separate mailing about routine changes.
